What? It’s already Saturday? And it’s time for the MJ Chart Data updates! Times fly!

Let’s start with the UK’s good news, “Thriller” (single) just received 2x Platinum (1,200,000) and making it Michael Jackson’s fifth multi-platinum certified single in the UK.

In the Official UK Charts, “The Essential Michael Jackson” gained 3 places this week to be at #13 on the UK Official Streaming Chart Top 100 and gained 6 places to be at #19 on the UK Official Album Chart Top 1oo.

In the US, the album “Thriller” is at #13 on the Billboard Vinyl Album Chart, #20 on the Billboard Top Album Sales. On the Billboard Top R&B Album Chart, “Thriller” is at #12 and “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #17. On the Billboard Top Catalog Album, “Thriller” is still at #21 and “Essential” dropped one place to #39. And finally on the Billboard 200, “Thriller” is at #74 gaining 6 places this week and “Essential” dropped 3 places to end this week at #110.
