The next couple of weeks are all about the Thriller album and the Thriller single! Fans are mobilising around #ThrillerChallenge to put the single at #1 on Billboard chart which will be the first time since its release but also will break the record of the oldest song back at the top position 40 years later.
Let’s start with the UK Charts where the single “Thriller” is now at #46 on the Official Singles Downloads Char Top 100 which last week was at #88. Still in the UK, “Thriller” single is at #50 on the Official Singles Sales Chart Top 100.
The album “Number Ones” is at #21 on the Official Albums Streaming Chart Top 100 and at #29 on the Official Albums Chart Top 100.
In the US, “Thriller” single is not yet on the Billboard Top 100 but the album is at #81 and “Essential” is at #99 on Billboard 200. On the Billboard Artist 100, Michael is now rating at #54 compared to last week’s #62.

Album version of Thriller by Michael Jackson has gained 524,122 streams on Spotify while single version has earned 254,500 streams. Total: 778,622 streams. This is songs biggest streaming day so far.
Thriller short film by Michael Jackson has jumped 103 sports on “Most viewed videos in the past 24 hours” list with 312,422 views.
Michael Jackson has gained over 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and surpassed 34 million monthly listeners. This is MJ’s highest peak so far.
Chicago by Michael Jackson has now surpassed 58 million streams on Spotify.
