Let’s start with a milestone news!
The album “Off the Wall” has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify this week. This is the third Michael Jackson album to achieve this on the platform.
Also good news in the UK Charts, “The Essential Michael Jackson” re enters the UK album charts Top 100 this week at #20. This is its highest position since March 2019, where it reached #97. The last time it charted in the Top 20 was September 2009.
“The Essential Michael Jackson” is also back at #15 on the UK Albums Streaming Chart Top 100.
However, “Number Ones” has felled out of the same UK Album all chart.
In the US, “Thriller” is #7 on the list of Best selling albums in 2023 so far.
In the Billboard 200, “Thriller” loses 10 places to be at #69 and “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #103. Both albums are also on the Billboard Top Catalog Albums respectively at #22 and #40 and on the Billboard Top R&B Album chart respectively at #13 & #20. “Thriller” is also at #12 on the Billboard Top Album Sales and #10 on the Billboard Vinyl Sale chart.
Michael Jackson is at #48 on the Billboard Artist 100.
