When you think of a professional bodybuilder, you might not immediately think of Michael Jackson, but Ivan Wong is proving that you can combine an impressive physique, a love of the King of Pop and some serious artistic talent!
Ivan Wong is a professional natural bodybuilder who competes with the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation (WNBF). He earned his WNBF Pro Card in 2023 after competing at qualifying shows internationally, including WNBF Korea and WNBF Calgary.
A versatile competitor, Ivan has competed in Men’s Physique, Classic Physique and Men’s Bodybuilding. Away from the competition stage, he is also a fitness coach and personal trainer, working with clients on body transformations and strength training.
But bodybuilding isn’t the only thing that caught our attention.
Ivan is also a Michael Jackson fan!
Over time, Ivan has shared glimpses of his Michael Jackson collection on social media, as well as photographs of himself recreating some of Michael’s most iconic poses. And while those pictures already caught our attention, there is another side to Ivan’s creativity that really deserves to be highlighted.
He can draw!
And not just a little bit. Ivan has been sharing some seriously impressive Michael Jackson artwork, showing an incredible eye for detail and a real ability to capture Michael in some of his most memorable moments.
So far, Ivan has shared three drawings featuring Michael.
One takes us back to the Dangerous Tour, capturing Michael during one of the most iconic concert tours of his career.
Another depicts Michael during the HIStory Tour in his famous gold spacesuit, a look that has become instantly recognisable to fans around the world.
And then there is the Earth Song drawing, featuring Michael on the cherry picker during the HIStory Tour. It is one of those unforgettable moments from Michael’s live performances, and Ivan has done a fantastic job bringing it to paper.
What makes Ivan particularly interesting is the combination of his different passions. Between bodybuilding, his Michael Jackson collection, recreating Michael’s legendary poses and now producing these detailed drawings, there is clearly a lot more to discover.
And who knows what he will draw next?
We certainly hope Ivan keeps sharing his artwork because these first three pieces have us very curious to see what comes next!
