MJJ LA Gear Coming in Spring 2015

LA GEAR

If you grew up in the 80’s and 90’s, you’re very familiar with this iconic footwear brand. L.A. Gear and L.A. Gear Originals is relaunching just in time for the spring 2015 season. The nostalgic footwear brand will be paying homage to its roots by fusing trendy fashion, sports and pop-culture collaborations, as they previously did with renowned icons including Michael Jackson, Kareem Abdul Jabar, Wayne Gretzky, Belinda Carlisle, and Paula Abdul. The brand relaunches with multi-platinum recording artist, Tyga, on board as a creative brand adviser for the Originals line. The first release from the new collection will be the L.A. Gear Lights Liquid Gold limited edition sneaker, honoring the legendary L.A. Lights line, Tyga’s album, and “Go Gold” initiatives. This modern update will retail for $120.00, and will see “Liquid Gold” out first, with silver and red following soon after.

Sure to excite sneaker collectors, fans of the throwback fashion trend, and of the blinking L.A. Gear Lights, Hollywoods, L.A. Tech Runners and the KAJ styles, these nostalgic styles will no doubt be as popular as they were in the 80’s and 90’s. The T-RAWW Collection, launching under the L.A. Gear Originals range, will feature athletic and lifestyle footwear styles, and will include several limited edition releases throughout the year. The first T-Raww release will be the 6am Athletic Sneaker, available for both men and women. The women’s T-RAWW styles boasts a low-top silhouette, vibrant colors and cool prints that results in a fresh, attention-getting collection that will retail for $65.00 each. The LA TECH (Light Up) sneaker styles are just what you remember of the highly sought-after LA Tech Cross Runner shoes, which launched in 1992. This high-top silhouette, which will retail for $110.00, boasts LED light technology that will light up when your heel hits the ground, and continue to do so with every step you take.

The new L.A. Gear footwear styles will be sold at specialty sneaker stores, major department stores, on the L.A Gear Originals website, and phone app.
