Hong Kong Street Brand and Michael Jackson Collaborate on Pop-Up Experience
Hong Kong streetwear label KYUBI has teamed up with the Michael Jackson Estate for a special collaboration that merges fashion, music, and pop culture into one immersive experience. Beginning May 1, the “KYUBI × Michael Jackson” pop-up store opened its doors in Hong Kong, showcasing an exclusive limited-edition collection inspired by the King of Pop’s legendary legacy.
Blending street fashion with Michael Jackson’s timeless influence, the pop-up features 20 exclusive pieces across 10 themed series inspired by iconic songs and albums including Billie Jean, Thriller, Dangerous, and the legendary “King of Pop” era. The collection includes cardigans, embroidered crewnecks, leather bags, hoodies, bombers, and statement pieces that combine modern streetwear aesthetics with intricate craftsmanship and detailed embroidery.
Pricing for the collection includes T-shirts at around £50, sweaters at £68, sport coats at £130, cross body bags at £60, leather bags at £80, sweatpants at £68, crewnecks at £70, hoodies at £101, cardigans at £82, bomber jackets at £101, and vests at £50.

Among the highlights is the “King of Pop” series, which stands out as a collector-focused line celebrating Michael Jackson’s enduring cultural impact. The collaboration marks the first time a Hong Kong-based streetwear brand has partnered with an official American estate on this scale, making the collection especially significant for fans and fashion collectors across Asia.
The pop-up space itself was designed as a visual and interactive tribute to Michael Jackson’s artistry. Outside the venue, a giant record-inspired installation immediately catches attention, serving as a social media-ready landmark for visitors. Inside, fans can explore displays of Michael Jackson memorabilia alongside the merchandise collection, creating a storytelling-driven retail experience that celebrates both fashion and music history.
Visitors can also relive some of Michael Jackson’s most iconic moments through immersive visual references inspired by the moonwalk from Billie Jean and the cinematic style of Thriller. The experience arrives at a fitting time as anticipation continues to build around Michael, the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic set for release ahead of the United States in Hong Kong.
The opening event attracted a new generation of Hong Kong artists and entertainers, including Xinny Ng from Goodnight Lillie, George Au, Teller, Jackie Huang, singer-songwriter Teddy Huang, and Aaron Chung. The artists showcased their favorite pieces from the collection while emphasizing Michael Jackson’s continued influence on contemporary music and fashion culture.
Known for blending traditional influences with modern streetwear innovation, KYUBI continues to establish itself as one of Hong Kong’s most exciting emerging labels. Through this collaboration, the brand successfully reinterprets Michael Jackson’s transcendent legacy for a new generation.
The “KYUBI × Michael Jackson” pop-up runs daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. through May 29.
