First win for the Estate in “Michael Jackson Estate vs Jeffre Phillips”

Michael Jackson’s estate just scored a big legal win in the legal battle with Jeffre Phillips by preventing a potential sale of Michael’s property the estate claims was stolen from the singer’s home right after his death.

According to new legal docs, a judge issued a preliminary injunction barring Jeffre Phillips from selling any items he allegedly removed from the residence back in 2009.

Despite the fight back from Jeffre Phillips earlier this month, the items will not be sold but the battle is not over as we believe the Estate would like the restitution of the items to Michael Jackson’s Estate, meaning also a prosecution against Phillips for theft which could put Phillips behind bars.

The Estate launched legal actions last June when Julien’s Auctions reported Phillips’s attempt to sell the items to the Estate.

The Estate claims Phillips also stole handwritten notes from MJ, plus a briefcase filled with personal and business papers, as well as video cameras, computers and hard drives and even stole the pajamas Michael was wearing in the final hours before his death — which had apparently been removed from his body by the paramedics trying to save his life — and a resuscitator tube that appears to have been used on Michael.
