Without Michael Jackson, I would be dead!

Bela today!

We all remember Tamas aka Bela Farkas back in 1994. The young boy, orphan, was dying and in need of a organ transplant in a hospital in Budapest.

For the first time, Bela/Tamas has open up and talked to the Belgium Press RTBF.

Michael and Lisa-Marie visited the hospital in 1994 while in the city to film the teaser of his new album “HIStory”.

At the time, Michael asked if he could take the child to the US to treat him. The hospital explained to Michael that they have already arranged treatments in Brussels, Belgium but the money was lacking to do so.

Michael Jackson decided then to finance the full treatment, the operation and the transportation of Bela from and back to Hungary via his foundation “Heal The World”. The bill came to nearly €150,000.00.

While in Hospital, Michael made sure to send some present like a wooden Pinocchio or a big teddy bear named “Lisa” after Lisa-Marie”.

After 3 transplant, Bela was safe and he was invited with his adoptive family to the HIStory World Tour in 1996 as VIP and Michael also booked the whole family in a luxurious hotel. “It was magical! it was the most spectacular concert I’ve ever saw” recall Tamas.

“Michael Jackson saved my life. Until today, every day, I am asking myself: Why me? Why did he chose me?”

Asked about “Leaving Neverland”, Tamas said “I don’t believe a word! I am a dad of two and I cannot believe you can wait 30 years to unveil such monstrous things. Michael Jackson was a good man. These accusations are misleading and grotesque.”

He also added “My dream is to go where he is resting in the US. This is my only wish. I do not ask for anything else. No money, no help, Michael Jackson already gave me the biggest present ever: Life!
