To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Emmy Awards, they created a list of the Top Impactful US Television Moments over the past 75 years voted by Television Academy members.
The Top 75 Most Impactful Television Moments is an exciting look at the television experiences that have shaped the US culture and society, selected by members of the Television Academy and a first for the Emmys to present this type of recognition.
From Neil Armstrong proclaiming “One Small Step for man, one giant leap for mankind” on the moon which got #1 spot to Peter Pan teaching the Darling Children how to fly at #71. every key moment of US television is pretty much there!
And of course, the debut of “Thriller” short film by Michael Jackson on MTV is also on the list at #48.
