The Michael Jackson fan community is mourning the loss of Jayne Ross, longtime President of the Michael Jackson World Network (MJWN), who has passed away after almost three decades at the heart of the fan community. Her passing was announced by MJWN today.
Jayne’s involvement with Michael began in the early 1990s through the Heal the World Foundation before she became one of the founding members of MJWN in 1998. She went on to lead the network for decades, helping connect fans around the world and supporting countless Michael Jackson events and initiatives.
But Jayne was much more than a fan club President. Despite everything she achieved, she always considered herself simply a Michael Jackson fan.
Her dedication, kindness and love for Michael and his fans will never be forgotten.
Our thoughts are with her family and friends.
