New Little Michael Joins Broadway’s MJ The Musical

The Broadway production of MJ The Musical has welcomed a new young star to its cast. Beginning June 9, Jackson Robert Vann officially stepped into the role of Little Michael at the Neil Simon Theatre in New York.

Originally from Charleston, Vann makes his Broadway debut in the Tony Award-nominated musical after gaining valuable experience on the first national tour of MJ The Musical, where he performed in 13 cities across the United States.

Before joining the Broadway company, Vann portrayed Little Marlon on tour and now takes on the iconic role of Little Michael while also serving as understudy for Little Marlon. He succeeds Emjay Roa and will share the role of Little Michael with Christopher Sean Cooper Jr.

A talented actor, dancer, singer, and songwriter, Vann joins a cast currently led by Matte Martinez in the title role. His transition from the national tour to Broadway marks another exciting chapter in the journey of MJ The Musical, which continues to captivate audiences with its celebration of the life, music, and artistry of Michael Jackson.

Congratulations to Jackson Robert Vann on his Broadway debut and welcome to the Broadway MJ family!
