Michael Jackson fans and vinyl collectors will soon have another special edition of the King of Pop’s legendary album Thriller to add to their collections.
A new limited edition pressing of Thriller has appeared for pre-order through Danish retailer iMusic, with the release currently scheduled for October 30, 2026. The new edition will be pressed on a striking marbled red & black vinyl, offering collectors a new visual variation of the best-selling album of all time.
The listing identifies the release as a limited vinyl edition, following a growing trend of special coloured vinyl releases that have become increasingly popular among music collectors. iMusic has previously offered exclusive coloured vinyl editions and special pressings, making this new Thriller release another addition to the collector market.
Originally released in 1982, Thriller remains one of the most influential albums in music history, featuring iconic hits including “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’,” “Human Nature,” and the title track “Thriller.” The album continues to receive new vinyl editions decades after its original release, with previous collector releases including anniversary editions and audiophile pressings.
While details such as the exact number of copies produced and whether this edition will be available beyond Denmark and selected European retailers have not yet been announced, the marbled red and black design is expected to make this release an attractive item for Michael Jackson collectors.
The new pressing follows other recent Michael Jackson vinyl releases, including a limited red vinyl edition of Number Ones released in 2026, showing the continued demand for physical releases from the King of Pop’s catalogue.
More details, including official confirmation and availability in other territories, are expected closer to the October release date.
