MJ The Musical is holding open auditions for the lead role of Michael Jackson at various locations across the UK in March.
In the auditions across three locations in Manchester, Birmingham and London, MJ is looking for exceptional male singers (high tenors with falsetto) who are also strong actors and dancers to portray and cover the lead role.
If auditioning, you will need to prepare a Michael Jackson song or a pop song that shows off your voice and range. You must bring sheet music, along with a photo and CV stapled together. No stereo playback will be available, but a pianist will be provided. Please note you must be 18 years old or above and eligible to work in the UK.
Auditions will take place at the following locations:
SATURDAY 18th MARCH – MANCHESTER – STUDIO25
SUNDAY 19th MARCH – BIRMINGHAM – BIRMINGHAM HIPPODROME
SUNDAY 26th MARCH – LONDON – NATIONAL YOUTH THEATRE
Registration opens 10am (registration closes 12pm). Please be prepared to wait.
Contract dates: Rehearsals start December 2023, opening night March 2024 at The Prince Edward Theatre, London. Contract type: 1 year.

I have no chance of getting the lead role but as a avid fan of Michael Jackson and close to (50) 🙂 would I be able to get a small role anything just to be part of this amazing show. Also I am planning a huge celebration for MJ 65th so any involvement would be amazing 🙂🙂
