Before we check this week charts, some certification news! In New Zealand, “Billie Jean” has been certified 6 x Platinum, selling over 180,000 units, “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)” has been certified 2 x Platinum selling over 60,000 unites, “BAD” (single) and “Chicago” have been certified Platinum selling over 30,000 units each and “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You” has been certified Gold selling over 15,000 units.
So here they are! In the UK, “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #20 in the Top 100 Albums and #15 in the Top 100 Streaming Albums.
In the US, “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #87 in the Billboard 200 Albums and re-entered at #30 in the Billboard 50 Catalogue Albums. “Thriller” is at #125 in the Billboard 200 Albums, #17 in the Billboard 25 Vinyls and #34 in the Billboard 50 Album Sales. “Billie Jean” is at #197 in the Billboard Global 200 Tracks and #190 in the Billboard Global Track excluding the US.
In Germany, “Thriller” is at #81 in the Top 100 Albums. In Ireland, “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #34 in the Top 100 Albums. In Greece, “Thriller” is at #7 and “Bad” at #11 in the Top 75 Album Sales.

The Jackson 5 album “Diana Ross Presents The Jackson 5” has now surpassed 1.2 billion streams on Spotify. “Smooth Criminal” has also surpassed 900 million streams on the platform and the album “Thriller” has surpassed 5.7 billion streams!
