Happy New Year! That’s right! This is our first MJ Chart Data Update of 2024 and with new year, here comes a new graphic.
By the Christmas handbook, the Christmas Tree should be removed today and with that it will be also the last Holiday Charts.
But let’s start with the current charts.
In the UK, “The Essential Michael Jackson is at #20 on the Official UK Top 100 Albums and #16 in the Official UK Top 100 Albums Streaming. This compilation album sold over 170,000 units in 2023 in the UK alone!
In the US, the Album “Thriller” is at #102 on the Billboard 200, #30 on the Billboard Top Album Sales, #11 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums and #19 on the Billboard US Vinyl Albums.
The Jackson 5 “Christmas Album” is currently at #39 on the Billboard 200, #21 on the Billboard Top Catalog Albums, #5 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums, #34 on the Billboard Top Streaming Albums and #18 on the Billboard Top Holiday Albums.
The song “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” is at #30 on the Billboard Hot 100, #27 on the Billboard Streaming Songs, #37 on the Billboard Global 200, #76 on the Billboard Global Excluded US, #26 on the Billboard Holiday 100, #26 on the Billboard Holiday Streaming and #18 on the Billboard Holiday Airplay
The song “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” is at #43 on the Billboard Hot 100, #39 on the Billboard Streaming Songs, #79 on the Billboard Global 200, #35 on the Billboard Holiday 100, #37 on the Billboard Holiday Streaming and #32 on the Billboard Holiday Airplay.
The compilation “The Best Of The Jackson 5, 20th Century Masters: The Christmas Collection is at #42 on the Billboard Canadian Albums.
In Ireland, “The Essential Michael Jackson is climbed to #86 on the Irish Top 100 Albums Chart. The singles “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” in at #37 and “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus at #83, both on the Irish Top 100 Singles Chart.
In Greece, 3 of Michael Jackson albums are currently on the Top 75 Albums Chart: “BAD” at #12, “Thriller” at #21 and “Dangerous” at #75. Meanwhile the single “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” is at #71 in the Top 100 Singles Chart.
