Jaafar Jackson kept things understated in a Polo Ralph Lauren Fall 2026 look. His outfit featured a velvet jacket paired with a silk vest and a cotton pleated tuxedo shirt, finished with a silk bowtie and matching accessories. The styling leaned traditional, with a polished silhouette that felt aligned with the tone of the evening rather than pushing into theatrical territory.
Nia Long, who plays Katherine Jackson, made her Met Gala debut in a LaQuan Smith design. Her look balanced structure and elegance, staying within a clean and controlled aesthetic. Colman Domingo, portraying Joseph Jackson, wore a custom Valentino ensemble created by Alessandro Michele. His look featured a pleated chiffon jacket with a woven harlequin motif and a black satin waistband, paired with black wool trousers detailed with red satin side bands and intricate embroidery.
