Michael Jackson is one of the most loved entertainers of all time. His enormous influence on popular music and culture is undeniable and can still be felt. Five of his solo albums are in the list of best sold albums ever: Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous and HIStory.

The Thriller album remains in the first spot on that list with over 70 million albums sold! During his extraordinary career, Michael sold more than 750 million records. He had no less than 13 number one hits and remains one of the very few artists to be honored twice in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame. The Guinness Book of World Records recognized Michael Jackson as the most successful entertainer ever.

Jackson won 13 Grammy Awards and received the American Music Award’s Artist of the Century Award. With this grand symphonic concert European Philharmonia honors the greatest artist of the past hundred years. Arranged by Roberto Molinelli and conducted by Walter Proost, this promises to be quite an event. In the past Molinelli worked with Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli and many others. Proost has worked with some of the greatest soloists, such as José Van Dam, Barbara Hendrickx and Plácido Domingo.

The “electric” aspect of the show is assured by none other than Eric Melaerts.

The concert will have all the hits and a few surprises and will include spectacular arrangements of Billie Jean, Beat it, Pretty Young Thing, Love Never Felt So Good, Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough, Thriller, Man in the Mirror, Rock with You and Smooth Criminal.

Ticket prices range from 30 tot 40 euros and are available online and at Fnac stores.
