After dominating the global box office, Michael is preparing for its next chapter in India.
JioHotstar has announced that the Michael Jackson biopic will begin streaming on August 29 through its Peacock Hub, giving subscribers access to the film at no additional cost. The movie will be available in both English and Hindi.
The announcement applies specifically to India, where JioHotstar operates. International streaming plans remain different, with Michael set to debut on Starz in the United States on August 10, while other regions continue to follow their own distribution agreements.
Before arriving on JioHotstar, Michael became available digitally in India through Prime Video, Apple TV, and BookMyShow Stream, but only as a premium rental or purchase. The JioHotstar release marks the first time Indian subscribers will be able to watch the film as part of an existing streaming subscription.
For fans in India who missed seeing the film on the big screen, or simply want to experience it again, the wait is almost over. Starting August 29, Michael will be available to stream on JioHotstar’s Peacock Hub without any additional rental fee for subscribers.
