This year at the Shanghai International Arts Festival, John Textor, Chairman of Pulse Evolution, announced that Michael Jackson (or the virtual version of himself) will be performing at next year event!
Pulse Evolution is the company responsible for the performance of ‘Slave To The Rhythm” at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.
John Textor said the show will be 90 minutes long of music and dance featuring the King of Pop.
He added “What was wonderful about the [Billboard] show was that when I looked at the audience I saw people crying […] They were making a connection with Michael Jackson … nobody was wondering about the technology behind it”
John Textor said he is looking for local partners to make this a reality and a local production company stepped forward already saying “Michael is still really popular in China, so I think there would be a huge market for a digital show”
