- Xposé’s Lisa Cannon flew to Paris last week to interview Will.i.am at the unveiling of the special edition Lexus, which airs on tomorrow’s (Wednesday 1st October) show at 6pm.
The Black Eyed Peas frontman and judge on The Voice UK told Lisa about a special visit to Ireland to record with Michael Jackson describing it as a beautiful place.
He said that Michael also thought it was amazing in Ireland because he loved the green, the hills and the trees.
“The ambience, the environment, the set up there at the cottage and in the studios, it was just amazing. And then the music was great.”
When Lisa asked the musician if he had a pint of Guinness with Michael during the visit, Will.i.am replied:
“No. It was not at the studio because just down the road it was like a detox centre so now that we know what we know, it makes sense now.”
After speaking about recently spending time with Irish superstars U2 and The Script, Lisa asked if he would do collaboration with Bono but Will seems to think that would be setting his sights too high!
“Yeah that would be awesome but that’s dreaming too big. I want to keep my dreams down to earth. I’m already out there.”
The star gushed about pal Cheryl Versini Fernandez’s return to The X Factor, telling Lisa that he believes “It took a lot of courage, a lot of thick skin. It took balls for her to go back so hats off to her and her strength.”
Cheryl wasn’t the only lady Will gushed about during the interview, his face brightened up when Lisa asked about his fellow The Voice UK judge Kylie Minogue.
“Kylie is a sweetheart. She’s the perfect snuggler. Yeah you just want to like kind of snuggle Kylie.”
