They Don’t Care About Us Michael’s Rio Video outfits on auction

More items from Michael Jackson are being sold out on Auction this June.

Few items are to be noticed, especially due to the importance of the song and video but also because we are this year celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the release of HIStory.

The outfits wore by Michael on the set of Spike Lee’s Rio Version “They Don’t Care About Us” are now for grab!

A white T-shirt with a peace sign and “OLODUM” above, a pair of blue denim jeans, and a pair of black leather loafers, size 9, worn by Michael Jackson in his 1995 “They Don’t Care About Us” music video shot in Pelourinho, Brazil, and Dona Marta, a favela in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The video, directed by Spike Lee, was created to bring attention to the problems of the people living there; state authorities had tried to ban production of the video. The shirt has an “Olodum, Brasil” label, the loafers have handwritten notations on the soles that read in part “MJJ Brazil,” and the jeans have no labels.

A pair of white T-shirts with peace sign stick figures and “Olodum” on the front with extremely deep V-neck rips and a green, red, yellow, and black striped vest with “Olodum” down the stripes, all worn by Michael Jackson in his 1995 “They Don’t Care About Us” music video shot in Pelourinho, Brazil, and Dona Marta, a favela in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The video, directed by Spike Lee, was created to bring attention to the problems of the people living there; state authorities had tried to ban production of the video. Both shirts have “Olodum, Brasil” labels.

A pair of vibrant red T-shirts with “Olodum Bahia Brasil” on the front, one with a deep V-neck rip, both worn by Michael Jackson in his 1995 “They Don’t Care About Us” music video shot in Pelourinho, Brazil, and Dona Marta, a favela in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The video, directed by Spike Lee, was created to bring attention to the problems of the people living there; state authorities had tried to ban production of the video. Both shirts have “Olodum, Brasil” labels.

Hold your breath! Another iconic item is also being sold!

  1. Todos los artículos de Michael Jackson deberían estar en algún museo y no venderlos a cualquier persona, no se me hace justo.
