The Wiz will be back on stage at the Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester running from November 24, 2021 to January 16, 2022.
The Wiz opened its first performance in 1974 and by 1978, the movie featuring Diana Ross and Michael Jackson was released in cinemas.
This new production will be directed by Actors Touring Company Artistic Director, Matthew Xia, Musical Supervision and Orchestrations by Sean Green and Choreography by Leah Hill.
