The Greatest Night in Pop reviewed by the fans

The new Netflix Documentary “The Greatest Night In Pop” surrounding the creating and making of the song “We Are The World”, a charity single written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, produced by Quincy Jones and Michael Omartian which has sold over 20 million copies, has now been launched on the platform on January 29, 2024.

While we all know the story, Director Bao Nguyen has done an amazing job on this to hook the viewers with emotion, suspense and drama, all based on archive footage from the night in question, old interviews and recordings and Michael Jackson fans are having some gold nuggets with never-seen-before footage of Michael. A massive ovation for Nguyen’s ability to be a story teller.

We wanted to wait long enough to able the fans to watch the documentary before posting this article. There is no deny that the Michael Jackson Fan community is loving this new documentary. Social media has been flooded with fans telling how they felt, how they loved watching the documentary and with even some calling the Estate to redo “Thriller 40” documentary to be at the same quality level. Of course for some fans, the documentary doesn’t hold enough of Michael. But after all, it is about how the song came about and put together and not only Michael.
