THE BIGGEST SHOW ON TURF: 55 YEARS OF HALFTIME SHOWS EXHIBITION OPEN TODAY!

As Cleveland gets ready to host the 86th annual NFL Draft, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is introduces an exhibit that honors the dynamic history of the Super Bowl Halftime Show and its legendary performers. The Biggest Show on Turf: 55 Years of Halftime Shows, presented by Pepsi.

OPENED: April 23 2021 – CLOSES: September 2021

The Super Bowl is the most viewed television event of the entire year, and more people watch the Halftime Show than the game. With a worldwide audience that exceeds 100 million, the Super Bowl Halftime Show remains one of the rare events that people still enjoy together in real-time, and the power of this shared experience cannot be overstated.

With a duration of approximately 12 ½ minutes, the Halftime Show continually outdoes itself and becomes part of our cultural history on the grandest scale – and on the biggest stage in the world. It is quite literally “the greatest show on turf.”

Here some of the exhibits you will be able to see:

Well that’s nice to see you will tell me but what is it to do with Michael Jackson?

Unlike Janet Jackson who got the cold shoulder in this exhibition due the the nipple-gate situation; NFL, the Super Bowl and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame couldn’t ignore that Michael Jackson is the superstar that made the Super Bowl Half Time Show an event!

However, fans should not get too excited! Unless other artists artefacts present, Michael Jackson doesn’t get a costume but just a board with a jacket and information about his Half Time Show and videos of his performance.
