The annual Smooth Radio All Time Top 500 took place this bank holiday week-end.
In 2022, Michael and the Jacksons had 17 songs in the top 500, last year we had 13.
There were a lot of movement this year for Michael and his brothers. New songs appeared in the listing such as “I Want You Back” which entered at #419
Some other songs re-entered the listing such as “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin'” making it to #355 and “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing) at #347.
Many Michael songs lost positions: “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough” lost 180 places, “She’s Out Of My Life” lost 168 places, “You Are Not Alone” lost 82 place, “Beat It” lost 42 places.
“Man In The Mirror ended at #5 compared to #4 the last 2 years.
In total, 16 songs from Michael Jackson, The Jackson 5 and The Jacksons were present this year at the Smooth Radio All Time Top 500. A bit of a disappointment but not bad for Michael!
