The peaceful protests began on October 8, 2020 calling authorities to abolish the abusive unit SARS sparked by a online video released on October 3 of an officer of SARS shooting a young man.

Last night, protesters were holding a candlelight vigil in honour of all those who have been killed by the police nationwide.
