Le Vault will display American artist Tomyboy’s, who is known as Rocketbyz, unique pieces of art at the Glow-In-The-Dark art exhibition, at Nation Towers, Abu Dhabi, which will be inaugurated and attended by Sheikh Khalifa bin Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan on the 13th of April 2016 at 7:00 pm.
The German born artist started his career in the music industry as a producer. While experimenting with colours and visual concepts for his music production, Tomyboy found his passion in fluorescent colours.

Tomyboy who finds inspiration from the 60’s, is an expert in transforming everyday consumer products into electrifying works of art. His flamboyant style appeals to millennials and art lovers who harbour a liking to edgy and hip artistic elements. Tomyboy reflects his appreciation for pop culture through his work. The eccentric artist has painted portraits of classic icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, and Rihanna using fluorescent paint.
The Managing Director of Le Vault Mr. Samer Mashal said, “I was truly amazed when I first came across Tomyboy’s work in the USA. On meeting him, I had no doubt in my mind that I had to bring him, and his exemplary ideas and concepts to the UAE. Knowing that nothing of this nature had ever been hosted in the Middle East, it was a privilege to be the first. I am excited to witness people’s response to his work and hope that guests will see be as entranced by his pieces as I was.”
Exhibition goers will find sneakers, a Harley Davidson bike, a Rolex watch, a piano among other lifestyle luxury products that have been used to create powerful and trendy art. The exhibition is the first of its kind in the UAE and is sure to provide a one-of-a-kind experience to guests.
Le Vault Showroom will host the Glow-In-The-Dark exhibition, scheduled to start at 7:00 pm at the first floor of Nation Towers.

  1. It might be worth noting that the exhibition has been advertised as running until 30 April 2016 only. So get in quick if you wanna see it! I’m going to be in Dubai in the 3rd week of May and thought I might pop over to Abu Dhabi to check out the gallery… but it looks like I’ll be three weeks too late. 🙁
