Now to business! Let’s start with a great news, “Billie Jean” was just certified 3x Platinum (over 30,000 units) in Portugal.
In the US, “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #68 in the Billboard 200 Albums and re-entered the Billboard 50 Catalogue Albums at #16. “Thriller” is at #92 in the Billboard 200 Albums, #31 in the Billboard 50 Catalogue Albums, #11 in the Billboard 25 Vinyls and #23 in the Billboard 50 Album Sales. “Billie Jean” is getting stronger and gained 19 spots in the Billboard Global 200 Tracks to be at #87 and gained 29 spots in the Billboard Global 200 Tracks excluding the US to be at #98. However, Michael Jackson dropped one spot in the Billboard 100 Artists to be at #52.
In the UK, “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #15 in the Top 100 Albums and #10 in the Top 100 Streaming Albums. “Number Ones” is making a re-entry at #70 in the Top 100 Albums Downloads.
In Germany, “Thriller” goes up of 15 spots to be at #49 in the Top 100 Albums.
In the Netherlands, “Thriller” is at #23 in the Top 100 Albums.
In Belgium, “Thriller” is at #110 in the Wallony Top 200 Albums and #140 in the Flanders Top 200 Albums.
In Sweden, “Thriller” is at #60 in the Top 100 Albums.
Now to the digital charts and we are amazed to see that “HIStory” album has now surpassed 1.1 billion streams on Spotify!
