Fans of Michael Jackson in Wales are in for a special treat next month, as the spectacular life-size “Thriller” cake sculpture created by acclaimed cake artist Emma Jayne will once again go on public display.
If you recall, the jaw-dropping six-foot Michael Jackson “Thriller” cake was unveiled on Friday, October 31, 2025 in Birmingham, where it stunned fans and judges alike with its incredible detail and craftsmanship. The edible masterpiece paid tribute to the King of Pop’s legendary “Thriller” look and quickly became one of the standout attractions at Cake International.
Now, Emma Jayne, a mother of three from South Wales and the artist behind the creation, has announced that the sculpture will be showcased once again to coincide with the upcoming screening of the highly anticipated biographical film Michael.
Taking to social media, Emma shared:
“The long anticipated film Michael is coming to Coliseum, Aberdare – Film screening Wednesday 3rd at 6:45pm.
My life size sugar sculpture of Michael, made for Cake International will be on display in the foyer from Monday 1st – Friday 5th June.
A great chance to see the film and have a picture with Michael.”
The display will be hosted at the Coliseum Theatre Aberdare, giving fans a rare opportunity to admire the extraordinary sugar sculpture up close and snap photos beside the iconic “Thriller” pose before attending the screening.
With excitement continuing to build around Michael, the return of Emma Jayne’s unforgettable creation is sure to attract both filmgoers and dedicated Michael Jackson fans alike.
