MJ The Musical has been delayed due to COVID while they were supposed to start last July and weirdly they only hired a new producer Travis LeMont Ballenger to help on the project.
While you would think that sort of hiring would have been done like a year ago, the production is still due to open its doors on April 15 with previews on March 8, 2021.
Those sort of moves make fans doubting of the stability of the project, especially after the fiasco of Lynn Nottage; who wrote the book for the play; and declared she believed the new accusations in the so called documentary “Leaving Neverland”.
With COVID-19 shaking the world still, there is also doubt on the re-opening of theaters around the world which can still delay opening night for the 3rd time!
