Michael Jackson Christmas recital thrills audience in Brazil

Beija-Flor I School of Arts from Timon in Brazil has presented their Christmas recital called “The Sound of the heart” based on the music of Michael Jackson.

“Our goal was to show people that you need to have hope in life and believe in better days. We looked at the musical literature and saw that the artist Michael Jackson was one of those who wrote the most about hope,” said the director of Beija-flor I, Raih Santos.

The families also shared in the moment of reflection and emotion. “For us it’s a dream come true. The Beija-flor School of Arts generates many opportunities”, confessed Lidiane Gonçalves, mother of singer Maria Jenifer.

The mayor of Timon, Dinair Veloso, attended the presentation. “It was exciting to see the students’ performance on the instruments and singing. Our dreams cannot die and we must continue to persevere with the hope of better days,” said the manager.

Among the Michael Jackson songs performed, “Billie Jean”, “We Are The World”, “They Don’t Care About Us”, “Ben” were performed by the students.
