Madame Tussauds: Michael Jackson coming to Orlando!

Pop superstar Michael Jackson will be represented at the new Madame Tussauds wax museum opening in Orlando this spring.

Tussauds has not announced a full list for the International Drive attraction, but its website indicates it will feature celebrities and historical figures in several categories. Along with Jackson, Martin and Gomez, the site mentions Barack Obama, Brad Pitt, Taylor Swift, Taylor Lautner, Ryan Reynolds, Rihanna, Johnny Depp, Sofia Vergara (“Modern Family”), Jennifer Lopez, Oprah Winfrey, Tiger Woods, Shaquille O’Neal, Steven Spielberg, Marilyn Monroe, Tom Hanks, Will Smith, Jackie Chan, Serena Williams, David Beckham, Martin Luther King, Neil Armstrong, Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs, Andy Warhol, Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry and Juan Ponce de Leon.

The Tussauds museum in New York has about 200 wax celebrities. Ticket price for Orlando has not been announced, but the admission price in New York is $37 ($30 for ages 4-12).

Tussauds says each figure takes 800 hours to create, costing about $300,000 apiece to make.

Also coming to I-Drive 360 are the Orlando Eye observation wheel, Sea Life aquarium, Skeletons: Animals Revealed attraction plus restaurants and clubs.
