Current affairs, politics, news and other actualities get often a comical treat on social media with memes and other photoshopped pictures or modified videos.
The current issue between Russia and Ukraine, despite the gravity of the situation, got just that.
Recently, the French President Emanuel Macron and Russian President Vladimir Putin met to discuss the situation.
As President Macron refused to do a COVID-19 test on arrival in Moscow, the meeting took place in one of the meeting room in the Kremlin where a large and long white marbled table stands to keep safe social distance between the two men.
The official picture of this meeting took an humorous social media turn with people photoshopping different situations and other famous personalities in the shot.
One artist from Croatia, Željko Badurina, decided to put Michael Jackson on the table: “As soon as I saw the table, it seemed like an ideal basis for me to dance, I immediately remembered Michael Jackson and his dance moves. The pictures have now been shared thousands of times on social media with comments like “Vladimir Putin is not my lover” or “Love is my message”.

” As President Macron refused to do a COVID-19 test on arrival in Moscow ” …that is pure invention, why suggest such things ? The funny marble table is the table in that room where other presidents have been received before and after pandemic.
It has been confirmed by Macron’s office that he did his PCR test before arriving in Moscow but the Russian officials wanted to do the test on arrival which was denied by Macron office for security reasons and that is why they were in that room like other officials that were in the same situation. Please check the official statement from the French Gov. Those officials who agreed to the test done by the Russian side, they were in the usual meeting room with 2 chairs and no table in between.
