For the fans that are trying to get tickets for the Los Angeles free viewing of the Michael Jackson Thriller 40 Documentary, they might have noticed something strange.
The description of the event read “Come see this work-in-progress documentary about the making of the biggest selling album of all time worldwide – Michael Jackson’s Thriller – on Nov 30th. You won’t want to miss the making of this iconic album.”
Los Angeles was the last event to be activated on the Estate Calendar, while over events read “See the NEW documentary about the making of the biggest selling album of all time worldwide on Nov 30th.”, the LA one point out something odd: “work-in-progress documentary”.
We also know that the documentary will be available in January on a streaming platform that hasn’t been revealed yet.
“Work-in-progress”: Does that mean the new documentary is not finished and what the Estate are going to show the fans is just an incomplete work?
We have contacted the Estate for more information and have yet to receive an answer.
