Following the announcement from the Michael Jackson Estate and IMAX, Thriller 3D will be released in IMAX cenemas across the US and some other countries, IMAX just released a teaser for the famous short film!
Michael Jackson’s Thriller 3D will be remastered and released in IMAX® 3D for the first time ever. IMAX and the Estate of Michael Jackson are partnering to break new ground by digitally re-mastering Michael Jackson’s Thriller 3D into IMAX® 3D for the first time ever. The exclusive engagement will run for one week only, beginning September 21, 2018, in domestic IMAX® theatres—ahead of showings of Amblin’s The House with a Clock in Its Walls.
The Estate of Michael Jackson and IMAX have been contacted to have the full list of cinemas and countries where THRILLER 3D will be shown. The Estate told us that IMAX is making the decision on where the short film will be released. IMAX cannot share any information at this time.
