For Halloween, The Estate of Michael Jackson released GHOSTS on youtube for a limited time.
The short film has now been removed from youtube but it was watched over 2 million times over 3 days. [Last viewed count was 2,131,355]
The rare short film was only released in 1996 and was available on VHS (mainly), Laserdisc and VCD in Asia.
Putting the movie for free on the youtube channel gave the opportunity for many MJ fans and horror fans to see the masterpiece either again or for the first time.
We hope that with such good numbers that the Estate of Michael Jackson will consider either to do the same every Halloween or even better to release it finally on DVD or bluRay.
