Drag Queen paints Michael Jackson to survive.

John Hurley is not only a Michael Jackson fan but also a Drag Queen.

Back in the 90s, John was even a Michael Jackson impersonator and during his shows throughout the next couple of decades, John always included Michael.

He was travelling the globe with his act “Bella Berserk” – his drag name, but with COVID-19, his shows were all cancelled and postponed. Even his wedding with his partner John Jenkins has been postponed.

To survive this difficult climate which is touching all performers, John has been keeping busy and went back to his first talent: Painting. He is now painting and selling his art on ebay and mostly for pet lovers, friends and family members.

But he want also to promote causes close to his heart. He drew portraits of endangered animals and sold them to raise funds for WWF.

He is currently painting a portrait of Captain Tom and all profits will go to the NHS in memory of the UK’s hero.

But John has also painted Michael Jackson numerous times throughout the years and he did a great job:

Keep going John! You do a great job and hoping to see you on stage soon once the pandemic is over!
