The long-running legal saga involving Wade Robson and James Safechuck’s civil cases against the Michael Jackson Estate continues, with yet another extension of the timeline.
According to recent court filings, both the plaintiffs’ attorneys, the Estate’s legal team, and the appointed discovery referee have jointly agreed to extend all discovery deadlines by six months. The new proposed deadline is February 10, 2027. This comes amid a series of scheduling challenges and delays that have impacted the process on both sides.
A status conference is still on the calendar for July 11, where the judge will consider this proposed extension. If approved, it means any potential trial in these cases would likely be pushed to spring 2027 at the earliest.

While these continued delays can be frustrating, they also highlight just how complex and drawn out this litigation has become. Fans have watched for over a decade as Robson and Safechuck’s allegations, already dismissed before and reinstated due to changes in California law, keep resurfacing in court.
As always, we’ll keep you updated on any new developments after the upcoming status conference.

Not to forget the current Cascio lawsuit, which involves Mark Geragos demanding $44 million in arbitration and otherwise threatening to sue publicly.

What’s stopping them? Are HBO and their associates no longer interested in a mocku with blackmailers? Robson and Safechuck certainly don’t want blackmailers demanding 213 million on their side; that doesn’t look good for them.
In the end, they’ll probably fight each other over who wants what amount in which case. It’ll be fun when the boys accuse each other of lying. Imagine if the Cascios get more money in arbitration and Robson and Safechuck lose the civil case. The whole thing is hilarious.
