As we announced in July, the US fashion brand Actively Black is releasing a range of Michael Jackson apparels.
At Sony Hall during New York Fashion Week, Actively Black took center stage not only with its bold fashion statement but with a live performance that brought Michael Jackson’s spirit roaring back. The brand’s Michael Jackson collaboration was unveiled in full force as dancers, decked in the new MJ-themed gear, performed some of the King of Pop’s most iconic hits.
Among the performers, fans might recognised some of the influencer dancers inspired by Michael Jackson such as AY Hollywood, performing “Thriller”; The Chosyn One, bringing to life “The Way You Make Me Feel” and “Billie Jean”; and Salif Lasource, who danced to “You Rock My World.” These artists are known in the dance community for their electrifying stage presence and faithful interpretation of MJ’s signature moves, movements that merge precision, passion, and showmanship.

This performance marked more than a fashion moment, it was a tribute to legacy, music, and culture. By having these dancers embody Michael Jackson’s work while modeling the collection, Actively Black elevated the collaboration beyond clothing into a living homage to Michael Jackson’s enduring influence.
