The Big MJ Debate is back, and this time Charlotte McLachlan and Pez decided to do things a little differently!
To celebrate the anniversary of Michael Jackson’s Invincible album, the duo released a brand-new episode (#45) dedicated to rating every single track from the King of Pop’s final studio album. But there was one major difference: for the first time ever, The Big MJ Debate went LIVE!
And what a show it was!
While we might be a little late getting this one onto your radar, trust us when we say it was worth watching. Seeing Charlotte and Pez debate each track in real time, sharing their opinions, defending their favourites and occasionally questioning each other’s musical judgement made the whole experience particularly entertaining.
Of course, we cannot talk about this episode without mentioning Charlotte’s ratings. Let’s just say that some of her decisions were… questionable. Very questionable!
Charlotte, seriously? THAT rating for THAT song? We need to have a conversation!
Fortunately, Pez was there to bring some much-needed musical justice to the discussion. Or at least try to!
Sarcasm aside, the live format made everything even more fun, with plenty of laughs, passionate opinions and the kind of disagreements that make Michael Jackson discussions so enjoyable in the first place.
Whether you agree with their ratings or think they both need to go back and listen to Invincible again, this episode is a great opportunity to revisit one of Michael Jackson’s most underrated albums and celebrate its incredible music.

And remember: Charlotte’s ratings are her own opinions. They are not necessarily correct. 😉
