The official Asian Tour website has already announced Singapore as the next confirmed destination, with performances scheduled to begin in August 2027.
More cities and dates are expected to be announced as the tour develops.
This makes the Tokyo production particularly significant for Michael Jackson fans across Asia. The musical is not simply making its Japanese debut — Tokyo will officially launch the wider Asian tour.
For fans who have watched performances from Broadway, London, Hamburg, Australia and elsewhere around the world, seeing MJ The Michael Jackson Musical finally arrive in Japan is another major milestone for the production.
And with 53 performances scheduled in Tokyo alone, there will be plenty of opportunities for Japanese fans to experience the show for themselves.
