Kingvention is proud to announce a truly historic moment for fans of Michael Jackson. For the first time in 30 years, the original HIStory Statue, created by acclaimed artist Diana Walczak, will be seen in public and it will be showcased exclusively at KV NYC: HIStory Begins on October 25, 2025.
The statue, which became the centerpiece of Michael Jackson’s 1995 album HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I, is one of the most iconic images of the King of Pop. Designed and sculpted by Walczak under Michael’s direction, the statue not only defined the album’s striking cover but also inspired the massive promotional campaign that saw replicas unveiled around the world.
Now, for the very first time since its creation, the original piece will leave Diana Walczak’s possession and be revealed to fans at the very site where Michael recorded the HIStory album: the legendary Hit Factory (now known as Fount Studios).
This unprecedented showcase offers fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stand face-to-face with the statue that symbolised Michael’s vision of himself during one of the most personal and powerful chapters of his career.
Diana Walczak, who first joined Kingvention in London back in 2015, will also be part of the day’s guest lineup, sharing her experiences of working with Michael on this monumental project.
