For the second time in its 10-year history, Kingvention is crossing the Atlantic!
On Saturday, October 25, 2025, fans will gather in New York City for KV NYC: HIStory Begins — a one-day special event held at the legendary Hit Factory Studios (now Fount Studios), the very place where Michael Jackson recorded his HIStory: Past, Present and Future – Book I album.
This truly is a moment in HIStory, and we’re thrilled to finally reveal the first line-up of very special guests:
Dan Beck – Epic Records Executive & Author
Dan Beck was Michael Jackson’s main marketing contact at Epic Records between 1991–1996. He worked directly with Michael during the Dangerous and HIStory eras, handling everything from late-night calls to massive global campaigns. His brand-new memoir, You’ve Got Michael, is a behind-the-scenes look at the high-stakes challenges of working with the King of Pop.
At KV NYC, Dan will return to Kingvention (his first appearance since 2016 in London) for an exclusive live on-stage interview with Pez Jax, plus a book signing where fans can get their copy of You’ve Got Michael personally signed.
Diana Walczak – Sculptor of the HIStory Statue
Diana Walczak is the artist behind one of Michael Jackson’s most iconic visuals: the towering HIStory statue that appeared on the album cover, in promotional campaigns, and even as a physical version floated down the River Thames in 1995. Diana first joined Kingvention back in 2015 for the very first edition, and now she will return to share the story of creating one of the most unforgettable images of Michael’s career.
Steven Paul Whitsitt – Michael Jackson’s Photographer
As Michael Jackson’s personal photographer during the HIStory era, Steven Paul Whitsitt captured some of the most iconic images of Michael between 1994–1996, from studio sessions to stage moments. Since attending Kingvention in 2017, Steven has become a fan favourite, exhibiting limited edition photographs of Michael and offering rare glimpses into his archive. At KV NYC, he will not only share his stories on stage, but also offer fans a unique photo opportunity: being photographed by him against the same backdrop used by Michael and Lisa Marie Presley in 1994.
Tickets On Sale Now
In-person tickets for KV NYC are strictly limited and on sale now via kingvention.com. Don’t miss your chance to be part of Michael Jackson history in the very place he recorded his most personal album.
The first 30 fans to purchase an In-Person ticket to KV NYC will receive a free copy of ‘You’ve Got Michael’ by Dan Beck.
