While we are not expecting much changes in the charts for Michael until next year, we can always celebrate Michael’s music for his Birthday so get those songs streaming people!
But for now, let’s go to this week charts!
In the US, “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #94 in the Billboard 200 Albums and #31 in the Billboard 50 Catalogue Albums. “Thriller” is at #132 in the Billboard 200 Albums, #14 in the Billboard 25 Vinyls and #35 in the Billboard 50 Album Sales. Meanwhile, “Billie Jean” is at #187 in the Billboard Global 200 Tracks and #173 in the Billboard 200 Tracks excluding the US. Overall, Michael Jackson gained 2 spots in the Billboard 100 Artists to be at #62.
In the UK, “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #19 in the Top 100 Albums and #14 in the Top 100 Streaming Albums.
In Ireland, “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #30 in the Top 100 Albums.
In the Netherlands, “Thriller” is at #51 in the Top 100 Albums jumping up of 17 spots!
In Germany, “Thriller” is at #64 in the Top 100 Albums.
In Greece, “Thriller” is at #6, “Bad” at #11 and “Dangerous” reenters at #57 in the Top 75 Album Sales.
In the Digital World, “Dangerous” just surpassed 1.4 billion streams on Spotify and “Billie Jean” has entered the Top 100 in the Spotify Global Charts at #100.
