‘You Rock My World’ Officially Approved Sampled by Singer Chris Haze

Irish singer-songwriter Chris Haze has made history with the release of his brand-new single “Feels So Right”, officially sampling Michael Jackson’s iconic track “You Rock My World”.

Hailing from Galway, Chris Haze is no stranger to the music scene. He first rose to prominence in 2013 while touring with The Original Rudeboys, performing at major Irish venues such as The Olympia Theatre and The Academy. Since then, he has released five EPs, one full-length album Streets In My Mind, and several singles, steadily building his reputation as an independent pop artist with an international edge.

Now, Haze breaks new ground by becoming the first Irish artist and one of the few independent artists worldwide, to secure a co-publishing split with the Michael Jackson Estate and Sony Music Publishing.

His latest track, “Feels So Right”, which was released on August 1st, features an officially cleared sample from “You Rock My World”. The song has already gained international momentum, receiving support from major Indian radio stations such as Radio Mirchi and Big FM India, with the latter featuring Chris in a national interview on August 6. The single is also receiving airplay across several Irish stations and was recently featured in Apple Music’s editorial playlist ‘New in Pop’.

This is a major moment not only for Chris Haze but also for MJ fans, as the King of Pop’s musical legacy continues to inspire new generations of artists—now with full blessing and legal approval from the Estate.
