The Estate on the Biopic delays

The MJ Online Team, the company used by The Estate of Michael Jackson as PR, just emailed about the delay of the biopic and other projects.

While we were all aware of the delays and now looking at a 2026 release, few new elements came to light as it seems the Estate is also planning documentaries on “Dangerous” and “HIStory”! But no worries, they have also been delayed and seems to be released after the biopic!

And for those who really wanted a clear date of release for the Biopic, so sorry but you are not getting it yet!

Michael Jackson Biopic and Projects Update:
Thank you for your unwavering support of Michael Jackson’s legacy.

Many of you have told us of your disappointment at the lack of official news about the biopic on Michael. We therefore wanted to inform you that, just like you, the online team continues to ask for information about the film.

Rest assured that as soon as the film studio, which controls the dissemination of information, provides us with information and/or resources, we will share them with you! And, like you, we hope that more details will be released very soon.

As hard as patience is, we remember that Michael couldn’t get rushed into his art and the results were exceptional when he finally released every album, short film, etc. We hope that the extra time and work put into the film will help make it an even better cinematic experience for all of us and that our patience will be rewarded with a film that we can all applaud and celebrate Michael as it should be.

We are also aware that the delays in the release of the biopic have the effect of delaying the projects planned by the Estate, including the well-deserved documentaries on Dangerous and HIStory, as well as other projects. While we understand the additional disappointment this causes us all, we confirm that the Estate is pleased to be able to resume its efforts on all planned projects after the release of the biopic.
