Sabrina Carpenter brought spooky pop energy and serious respect for the King of Pop during her Short n’ Sweet Tour stop in Dallas on October 30th, delivering a Halloween moment that MJ fans instantly recognized and loved.
In the spirit of the season and to honor one of the most iconic music videos of all time, Carpenter surprised the audience by bringing out a dancer dressed in Michael Jackson’s legendary “Thriller” outfit, complete with the red jacket and undead swagger. As the track played, Sabrina and her dancers broke into the classic “Thriller” choreography, giving fans a fun, stylish, and energetic tribute to the man behind the most famous Halloween anthem ever created.
This isn’t Sabrina’s first nod to MJ, either. MJ fans will remember her 2024 VMAs appearance, where she slipped into the exact same look Madonna wore at the 1991 Oscars, the night she famously attended with Michael Jackson by her side. A subtle but powerful callback, proving Sabrina knows her pop history and isn’t afraid to celebrate the legends who paved the way.
