On August 29, the world celebrated what would have been Michael Jackson’s birthday, and the global family of MJ The Musical marked the occasion in spectacular style. All five productions of the hit musical came together to create a special tribute video for fans, honoring the King of Pop’s legacy with music, dance, and love.
The video features cast members from each of the five productions:

Broadway (New York) – Led by Elijah Rhea Johnson, who took over the iconic role of Michael Jackson in 2023, the original production continues to thrill audiences at the Neil Simon Theatre.

West End (London) – Led by Jamaal Fields Green who performances in London, bringing MJ’s magic to the UK stage since March 2024.

North American Tour – The U.S. national tour, which has brought the show to fans across dozens of cities, is currently headlined by Jamaal Fields-Green and Jordan Markus in the title role.

Hamburg (Germany) – The German production is led by Benét Monteiro, who brings his own electrifying energy to the part of Michael Jackson, thrilling European fans.

Sydney (Australia) – Set to open in 2025, the Sydney production will mark MJ The Musical’s official arrival in Australia. The video included a message from the upcoming cast, building anticipation for its debut.
