Booster K1: The Humanoid Robot That Dances Like Michael Jackson

Chinese robotics company Booster Robotics has unveiled the Booster K1, a compact humanoid robot designed for education, research, and interactive demos. Standing about 95 cm tall and powered by NVIDIA’s Jetson Orin NX AI module, the K1 can walk, balance, recognize objects, and even perform complex dance routines.

To promote the robot, Booster released a viral video showing the K1 dancing with moves inspired by Michael Jackson — moonwalk and all — highlighting its precise motion control and agility. While fun to watch, the demo also showcases serious engineering: 22 degrees of freedom, real-time motion planning, and smooth human-like articulation.

With the K1, Booster Robotics aims to make advanced humanoid robotics accessible to classrooms, labs, and developers worldwide and to prove that even cutting-edge robots can have a little rhythm.

This robot can be yours for $4,999 and you can buy it HERE.
