A new exhibition titled BEYOND THE STAGE – From the Collected Works of the Jackson Strong Alliance, Artwork Created and Signed by Michael Jackson is set to open in Toronto this September, claiming to unveil a rarely seen side of the King of Pop.
The event, presented by BHG Art Management Group, promotes itself as the first time in history that the world will see Michael Jackson’s visual artwork. While audiences across the globe knew Michael as a legendary singer, dancer, and performer, the exhibition asserts that he was also a passionate visual artist from childhood, often filling sketchbooks and pages with drawings alongside his work in music and dance.
Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson, is quoted as saying that her son used many different art forms — singing, dancing, acting, and drawing — as outlets for his creativity, adding that his drawings were a special expression the world could now appreciate alongside his music.
“These works reveal the Michael most people never knew,” said a spokesperson for BHG Art Management Group. “An artist who sought not only to entertain the world, but to inspire it through every medium available to him beyond the stage.”
The works being presented come from the Jackson Strong Alliance, which artist Brett-Livingstone Strong describes as a visionary collaboration with Michael Jackson. According to Strong, the partnership aimed to build an arts enterprise celebrating creativity while supporting cultural and humanitarian causes.
The Toronto exhibition will take place at the Peter Triantos Art Gallery from 18–21 September 2025, marking the public debut of this collection.
However, fans should note that the Estate of Michael Jackson has not endorsed this event. In recent years, the Estate has repeatedly raised questions about the authenticity of items linked to Brett-Livingstone Strong which were on auction multiple times, leading to ongoing debate among the fan community.
Strong’s collection was recently viewed by streamer N3ON who livestreamed his visit.
